Two FCCs and an AQ!
During our spring sale weekend, at the Pan American Orchid Society show, we were elated to receive two FCCs, two AMs, and an AQ/AOS on our entry of 12 plants of Vanda Will Riley. This is the twenty-second Award of Quality granted by the American Orchid Society to our hybrids, and we’re sincerely honored. The flower quality awards represent our thirty-seventh and thirty-eighth First Class Certificates, too! The awarded plants are V. Will Riley ‘Crownfox’ FCC/AOS, V. Will Riley ‘Bonnie’ FCC/AOS, V. Will Riley ‘Crownfox Pink Lemonade’ AM/AOS and V. Will Riley ‘Crownfox Raspberry’ AM/AOS
We also received an AM/AOS on Blc. Hawaiian Kaleidoscope ‘Crownfox’.
Thanks to Tom Kuligowski for the award images. And BTW, we have plants of this same population of V. Will Riley in our catalog!
Believe it or not, we still get phone calls asking what our hours are, what the admission charge is, whether or not we’re open on any given day. Goodness, we’ve been here at the same location, with the same hours (and the same admission charge) for more than 40 years! We’re open 6 days a week, 9am to 5pm, closed on Mondays and a few major holidays. We escort garden tours on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting, at 11am and 3pm. Garden tours for groups can be arranged with a prior reservation. Check out the contact page here on the site. Oh, and there is no admission charge.
